Bibiana Jimenez born in Bogotá Colombia. After her study of psychology and education in modern dance in Barranquilla, she went to Bogotá where she studied stage dance and dance composition at the ASAB (High Academy of Art Bogotá) and continued her training in drama, dance languages ​​and motion analysis.

In 1996 she got her first engagement at "Ombigo'eKazabe" Contemporary Dance; In 1998 she founded the "Feminas Dancetheater".

In 2000 she meets in Bogotá the choreographer Johann Kesnik for them she continued dancing as a soloist in his choreographic theater, in Berlin, at the Salzburg Festival, the Theater Hanover and the Opera Bonn. For Reinhild Hoffman she danced in Graz as part of the Cultural Capital of Europe and at the Ruhr Triennale, and for Susane Linke she danced in Theater Bonn. She is currently a guest dancer in wehrtheater, 687performance, BodyTalk, La Fura dels Baus, Angie Hiesl and at various municipal theaters.

As an actress, she appeared in 2001 in "rooster combs" in the theater creature Berlin under the direction of Andjei Woron with. In 2006 she starred in the short film "Paloma", directed by Simon Pateau which the Jury Price "Short Cuts Cologne # 9" in 2006 and the 1st prize of "Young Media" contest in 2007 won and was invited to the International Film Festival of Cartagena 2007.

Litinova in FWT (outdoor workshop theater) Cologne and at ART OVRAG (International Festival of the New Urban Culture Fixa Town (Russia), and for Wehrtheater "Rockaby" directed by Andrea Bleikamp in Kunstsalon Cologne and Capdepera Street Arts Festival (Spain). Rocky was Nominated from SK Stiftung to the best dance theater pice of the year 2015 in Cologne.

In 2020 she was awarded the Cologne Dance Theater Prize for her choreography "Das eXXperiment": Production XX-TanzTheater in cooperation with Theater der Keller, concept / choreography / equipment: Bibiana Jimenez, in the dance facture. Donated by the TÜV Rheinland Foundation.

Bibiana Jiménez geboren in Bogotá Kolumbien. Nach ihren Studium der Psychologie und der Ausbildung in ModerneTanz in Barranquilla, ging sie nach Bogotá wo sie BühnenTanz und Tanz Komposition an die ASAB (Hoch Akademie der Kunst Bogotá) studierte und Weiterbildung in Schauspiel, Tanzsprachen und Bewegung Analyse fortsetzte. 1996 bekam Sie seine erste Engagement bei „Ombigo’eKazabe“ Contemporary Dance; 1998 Gründete sie „Feminas Tanz Theater“.

Am 2000 trifft Sie in Bogotá der Choreograph Johann Kresnik für den sie als Solistin bei seinem Choreographisches Theater weiter tanzte u.a. in  Berlin, Salzburger Festspiele, Schauspielhannover und dem Theater Bonn; für Reinhild Hoffman tanzte sie in Graz im Rahmen der Kultur Hauptstadt Europa und bei der Ruhr Triennale und für Susane Linke in Bonn. Aktuell ist Sie Gast Tänzerin bei Wehrtheater, Performance 687, Bodytalk, Agie Hiesl und Stadt Theatern.

Als Schauspielerin wirkte sie 2001 in „Hahnenkämmen“ in Theater Kreatur Berlin unter der Regie von  Andjei Woron mit. 2006 spielte sie die Hauptrolle in dem kurz Film „Paloma“ Regie von Simon Pateau, der 2006 der Jury Price „Short Cuts Cologne #9“, 2007 der 1° Price „Young Media“ Wettbewerbs gewann und zum Internationales Film Festival Cartagena 2007 eingeladen wurde.

Ihre Choreographien widmen sich von Anfang dem Thema Frau und besonderes der Sozialen Gerechtigkeit von Frauen. Ihre erste Choreographie „Momentos“ zeigte sie 1996 in  Museum für Allgemeine Kunst Barranquilla. 1998 gründete sie „Femina Tanztheater“ mit Unterstützung der Kulturinstitut Bogotá (Kol.) In Deutschland setzte sie ihre choreographische Arbeit u.a. mit „Je...femme, la vie est une Chanson“ im Theater Bonn fort. Es entstanden weitere Stücke wie  „Manto Agudo“ in Teatro Diana Neapel, „Wind up doll“ in Köln, „Frau Trilogie“ in Bremen, „Der Traum von Fridu“ in Bonn. Mit der GIZ Bonn “Schweigen / brechen“ und  „Still Stein“.

2009 initiierte sie ein integratives Tanztheater Projekt mit dem Ifz (Internationales Frauenzentrum Bonn); wo sie sozialpolitische Stücke wie „Märchen aus anderen Ländern“, „Frauen Portäts“, „Behaviorem“, „SALIDA“, „Dörfer der Hoffnung“ kreiert und choreographiert. Diese Inszenierungen zeigte sie im Kulturzentrum Hardtberg, der Lukaskirche Bonn, der Stadthalle Müllheim a.d. Ruhr, dem Frauen Museum Bonn, dem Theater Bonn, dem BMZ Bonn, im Haus de Geschichte Bonn, der Trinitatis Kirche, Marabu Theater Bonn, und in Bremen.

Für das Schauspiel entwickelte sie Choreographien wie „Das kalte Herz“ (Regie Irma Paulis) für das Stadttheater Klagenfurt; für das Trikster Theater Moskau „Alltägliche Apokalypsen“ (Regie von V. Ignatov - M. Litinova) Freies Werkstatttheater Köln, ART OVRAG International Festival of the new urban culture Fixa town /Russland, und für Wehrtheater/andrea bleikamp: „Rockaby“ im Kunstsalon Köln, nominiert für die Kölner Tanztheater Preis 2015 SK Stiftung, Mein eigen Fleisch und Blut-Teil 2 in der Orangerie, nominiert für den Theater Preis 2017 SK Stiftung und „Heroes“ in der Orangerie 2018.

2015 gründete sie ihre Tanztheater-Kompanie in Köln, die seit 2018 unter XXTanzTheater Bibiana Jimenez agiert. Wo sie sozialpolitische Tanztheater-Stücke und Site-Specific-Performances weiter kreiert, die sich dem Thema 'Frau' widmen, sowie aktuell-brisante und relevante Themen der Gesellschaft, hinterfragt und in Szene bringt.

Mit ihre Choreographien "XX" Fortuna - Teil 1 der XX Trilogie, Tanztheater auf den Spuren der weiblichen Seite Kölns - 2016 und mit  „I am Farkhunda“ - 2017, würde sie für die Kölner Tanztheater Preis SK Stiftung nominiert.

Im Jahr 2020 wurde sie für ihre Choreografie "Das eXXperiment", mit dem Kölner Tanztheaterpreis ausgezeichnet: Produktion  XX-TanzTheater in Kooperation mit Theater der Keller, Konzept / Choreographie / Ausstattung: Bibiana Jimenez, in der Tanzfaktur. Gestiftet von der TÜV Rheinland Stiftung.

BIO ESPAÑOL

Bibiana Jiménez nació en Bogotá Colombia. Tras estudiar psicología y formación en danza moderna en Barranquilla, se trasladó a Bogotá donde estudió danza escénica y composición de danza en la ASAB (Academia Superior de Arte de Bogotá) y continuó su formación en actuación, lenguajes de la danza y análisis del movimiento. En 1996 consiguió su primer compromiso en Danza Contemporánea "Ombigo'eKazabe"; En 1998 funda el “Teatro Feminas Tanz”.

En 2000 conoció al coreógrafo Johann Kresnik en Bogotá para quien continuó bailando como solista en su Teatro Coreográfico de Berlín, Festival de Salzburgo, Schauspielhannover y Teatro Bonn; bailó para Reinhild Hoffman en Graz como parte de la Capital Europea de la Cultura y en la Ruhr Triennale y para Susane Linke en Bonn. Actualmente es bailarina invitada en Wehrtheater, Performance 687, Bodytalk, Agie Hiesl y Stadt Theatern.

En Alemania continúa su trabajo coreográfico con, entre otras cosas, "Je ... femme, la vie est une chanson" en el Teatro Bonn . Hubo otras piezas como “Manto Agudo” en el Teatro Diana Nápoles, “Wind up doll” en Colonia, “Frau Trilogie” en Bremen, “El sueño de Fridu” en Bonn. Con GIZ Bonn “Schweigen / break” y “Still Stein”.

En 2009 inició un proyecto de danza y teatro integrador con el Ifz (Centro Internacional de Mujeres de Bonn); donde crea y coreografia piezas sociopolíticas como “Cuentos de otros países”, “Retratos de mujeres”, “Behaviorem”, “SALIDA”, “Villages of Hope”. Mostró estas producciones en el centro cultural Hardtberg, la Lukaskirche Bonn, el Stadthalle Müllheim a.d. Ruhr, el Museo Frauen Bonn, el Teatro Bonn, el BMZ Bonn, la Haus de Geschichte Bonn, la Iglesia Trinitatis, el Teatro Marabu Bonn y en Bremen.

Para el teatro desarrolló coreografías como “The Cold Heart” (dirigida por Irma Paulis) para el Teatro de la Ciudad de Klagenfurt; para el Trikster Theatre Moscú "Everyday Apocalypses" (dirigido por V. Ignatov - M. En 2015 fundó su compañía de danza y teatro en Colonia, que opera bajo XXTanzTheater Bibiana Jimenez desde 2018. Donde continúa creando piezas de teatro de danza sociopolítica y performances site-specific que están dedicadas al tema de las 'mujeres', además de cuestionar y escenificar temas actualmente explosivos y relevantes en la sociedad.

Con sus coreografías "XX" Fortuna - parte 1 de la trilogía XX, teatro de danza tras la pista del lado femenino de Colonia - 2016 y con "I am Farkhunda" - 2017, fue nominada para el Premio de Teatro de Danza de Colonia SK Foundation.

En 2020 fue galardonada con el Premio de Teatro de Danza de Colonia por su coreografía "Das eXXperiment": Producción XX-TanzTheater en colaboración con Theatre der Keller, concepto / coreografía / equipamiento: Bibiana Jimenez, en la fábrica de danza. Donación de la Fundación TÜV Rheinland.
